Sixth: - Issue of Rations.
Supplies of Meal has been issued during the month to Thirty (30) White and to One hundred and thirty one (131) Colored persons.

Seventh: - Soup Kitchens
During the month supplies of Bread and Soup were issued daily to Two hundred and eighty one (281) persons:  (one hundred and ninety one (191) White and Ninety (90) Colored).  The total number that received this "relief" for the month ending June 30 1868 was Seven thousand three hundred and fourteen (7314) - Four thousand nine hundred and sixty five (4965) White, and Two thousand three hundred and forty nine (2349) Colored) at a cost to the Government of Four hundred and eighty seven and 15/100 Dollars ($487.15). with an average cost of seven and one half cents (.07½¢) per day to each Adult.
