General

I have the honor to submit the following Report of Bureau Operations and Freedmens Affairs for the month of July 1868

1st Crops
In most parts of this Sub. Dist, the crops have been very much injured by the Drouth, especially the corn crop, of which there will not be more than half enough to render this Sub Dist. self sustaining. It is thought, however, by most of the Farmers with whom I have conversed that the Cotton Crop will be a full average, provided we are blessed with a late and favorable fall. 

2" Destitution
Destitution continues as heretofore reported, confined mostly to the Old and Infirm, who are unable to work and have neither Friends or Relatives to care for them. 

3rd Feeling between the Races.
There seems to be a more friendly feeling, among the late Rebels, towards the Freedmens than has existed at any time since the close of the war, which
