Chrysler repaired the A&T Railroad, he pressed negroes to work, or authorized the railroad men to do so. One man, a mechanic has the certificate of a member of the N.Y. Cavalry regiment that went up with Gen. Chrysler [[strikethrough]] the [[/strikethrough]] that he worked through July & August. But when he goes to the railroad for pay they refer him to Gen.
