and justice has to yield to red tape. Other instance of like nature have occurred. A class of cases has been before, one of which is pending now. When Gen. Chrysler repaired the A&T Railroad, he pressed negroes to work, or authorized the railroad men to do so. One man, a mechanic has the certificate of a member of the N.Y. Cavalry regiment that went up with Gen. Chrysler [[strikethrough]] the [[/strikethrough]] that he worked through July & August. But when he goes to the railroad for pay they refer him to Gen. Crysler, [[strikethrough]] 1611 [[/strikethrough]] and Gen C. refers him to the Railroad man. I will send an application, however, in this case.
