the Bureau I have succeeded in establishing several select schools but owing to the prejudice still existing it is very difficult to employ competent teachers in colored schools. We have a flourishing associations known as Lincolns Temperance Lodge of one hundred and eighty members (180). I have in store at this time 954 sacks of corn. The Hospital Bureau R.F. & A.L. at this place provides for four (4) Refugees one man and three women and sixty one Freedmen thirteen men thirty one women and sixteen children
