Dr Sir,

It affords me great pleasure to be able to report that during the past month, the affairs of the F.M. in this Sub, District have been prospering much better than formally, in fact nearly all are working cheerfully and faithfully, and scarcely any complaints of suffering or want.
I am very happy to say that Yours and Genl Meads late order has done much To revive confidence & restore peace and quiet in this section, and that in my option all that is necessary to fully establish the value. Is a few examples of sure and shady punishments of offenders.
There had been but one glaring outrage during this Month here (of which I have made sure to report to you)

I am Very Respectfully your Obt Sevt.
