Sir,
I have the Honor to ref [[?]] that the affairs of the (F.-A.) in this Sub. Disct. [[?]] for the last month have been as properous as could be expected. Complaints have been up than for any previous month since my connection with the office. There seems to be a general willingness to work faithfully, and I am happy to be able to say that the employers seem generally much more disposed to do justices to them & I am very much in hopes that they will, se the fact, that it is to their own interest to deal with them so, Our city is very quiet and orderly, [[?]] Alfred Hendberg, with his Co of M. S. Soldiers are here & they seem to be a Co. of Splendia new officers.

Very Rep. [[?]] Your Obv Sevt
