Tuskegee Ala March 10th 1866

AAG B of RF and AL

Colonel
I have the honor to transmit herewith my weekly letter Nothing of importance occurd since my last. All is going well. Equally as well as I could expect very few complaints made at this office Some few Freedmen leaving in violation of Contract. I usually return them and order them to remain and comply with their contracts unless there is something on the part of the employer which actually demands a separation very few contracts are being braught to this office for approval in my opinion the planters are trying to avoid having anything to do with the Bureau unless they get into some trouble with their employees and then thy will call on the Bureau to return
