Colonel,
I have the honor to report that during the year ending Sept. 30th 1868, the Q.M. Department have issued 10,577 garments, 4,495 blankets and quilts, besides a considerable quantity of Osnaburg and shirting for underclothing. 

Transportation has been furnished to seven school teachers, Eighty one destitutes, seventy four officers and clerks, the distance travelled being twenty four thousand three hundred and eighty six miles.
