At Talladega J. M. Thornton a most reliable and trustworthy agent has been appointed by the commissioners court of that county who is prepared to take charge of and store the supplies sent to that Depot for the counties Talladega, Calhoun and St. Clair. He will also issue rations to the destitute of Talladega County and to the agents for the counties of Calhoun and St Clair.

The said Commissioners court has also employed Smith an honest man of good character to superintend the Freedmens Small Pox Hospital and Freedmens Colony in the that county and he is now engaged in discharging the duties of said agency.

At Tuscaloosa G.W. Jennings an experienced agent of good character and standing has
