After close interrogation of several and all of the persons knowing to these facts I am convinced that the statement of Surgeon Beaudry covers the only instances in which rations have been in any way disposed of. Surgeon Beaudry has given his whole time and attention to the colony and I don't think any think of the kind could have been done without his knowledge
