Dear Dr Waugh
Getting letters away from here owing to train hold up is a problem but I hear one leaving tomorrow so I thought i may as well drop you only a few lines. 
First about the Boat as yet I have had no answer from the owners of Dr Whelans boat will wire or write you as soon as I hear from them. I think could we get her she would be OK after giving her a little better fittings. As sson as I hear will go & look over her & let you know.
Its impossible to get a Boat built at this time of the year in this country. had I known earlier I could have got it done most Carpenters about here that is Boat Builders are going to work on the Humbur.
One of the Grenfell Mission Yachts the Moter Yacht Yale is laying here for the winter could you buy her she is just what would suit you, altho she does not steam only six miles per hour, she has a Mianus engine but you could alter that.
I have written the Secty at St Johns but he is not likely to know whether they would sell or hire her. Dr Grenfell I think is somewhere in the United States also Dr Paddon I do not know there address but you should be able to get in comminication with them either one of them would let you know. Dr Paddon of Indian Harbor Hospital has been using her at
