Dear Mrs. Blake,
It was so good to hear from you. I also had a letter from Jack in which he spoke of a very pleasant evening with Doris. He is busy getting ready for his new job, and I suppose Doris, too, is busy with new plans.

My niece is still in the Orient. She has been in Alaska, Hawaii, Japan, China, Malaysia, Bangkok. She will return to Hawaii and Los Angeles, he expect her home July 20th.

Somehow I will see Jack. Either he will come here or I will go to New York. I would like to see Doris, I'm hoping to have a visit with you. It's long since we had a real vacation together. Perhaps you could come for a visit next winter. It is not
