He likes to send money, and that requires no shopping as packing. Jon and Shirley like receiving a check, but Jack does not. He seems to consider that an inappropriate Christmas gift. I believe Doris feels the same way.
Jack enjoyed his Christmas visit with you very much. As a result I received a delightful letter from him. That letter was one of my best Christmas gifts. It extended the holiday season for me.
