Dear Mrs. Blake:

I guess you think I have forgotten you. I have been wanting to write you for ages. I have had so many letters to write. I have had so many letters from my mother's friends and is taking me quite a time to answer them. My mother did most of the letter writing and she was such a good letter writer and I am such a poor writer.

My father and I went away for a few weeks after

I do hope you and your husband will visit us again when you come our way.

My best to Mr. Blake.

Yours,
Marguerite
