She [[strikethrough]] does [[/strikethrough]] did not make any specific complaint, "lives drawn too tight" "wont live with Maud." &c &c Maud has always seemed to be willing to have her with her, and I wonder if she has changed? Is there not some place where she (your mother) can board? Maud wrote once that she goes off up to her home alone, and was warned, on account of her deafness, lest she be hurt by some auto or something - We went thru all this with Gram Pierce. At times she was quite wrought up with Francis, and offered Mildred a thousand dollars to take her. Will you tell me something of the situation. Looks like she cannot adapt herself to new conditions. Our family as Purll Mira in Duluth - Alice in Hastings we hear that you are a family man again. Congratulations and we hope all goes well.
