Dear Folks:

I'm very tardy but I'm a slouch when it comes to writing.

I've heard all about the poem Mother Blake sent "out" so there's not much left to describe about Christmas. Bobby loved his blocks and never tires of playing with them. I pick them up about 4 times per day but he does love to build them up and knock them down - Bobby is all excited about some small fish in a globe at Aunt Edith's (gullpips) [[(guppies)] I think you call them) so I guess he shall have some goldfish or something - Hope everything is O.K. with you and thanks again for everything-
Love Florence

Transcription Notes:
I think the fish may be a misspelling of "guppies" I think the writer's name may begin with an "H", unsure of the full name
