Dear Doris-

I wish Eleanor could come to you I think it would be wonderful for her. I cannot imagine anything for her that I would rather she would do. Have always been very fond of her she was so good all her coming up but am afraid as Alice is that Elsie will not let her go.  I think you could trust your baby with her, and she is so fond of children and reading that I do not think she would be homesick, if she does not [[strikethrough]] come [[/strikethrough]] we will think it for the best - that way.

Of course my opinion is only formed from her visits here.  When she was down this summer she wanted to find a baby to take out to ride and she went out with the Campbell (the druggist's) baby a few times when their regular
