[[Seal of The Surgeon General]]

IN REPLYING ADDRESS THE SURGEON GENERAL
U.S. PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICE

TREASURY DEPARTMENT

BUREAU OF THE PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICE

WASHINGTON

February 15, 1930.

Dr. L. M. Waugh,
576 Fifth Avenue,
New York City.

Dear Dr. Waugh:

When you were here I forgot to speak to you about submitting a voucher for your traveling expenses. We will make out the voucher here, but it will be necessary for you to advise us as to the date and exact hour that you left New York, the date and exact hour you arrived in Washington, the date and hour you left Washington and the date and hour you arrived in New York. You should also send the copies of the transportation slips which you used in paying your transportation.

I hope you will pardon my delay in writing to thank you for coming down to Washington and giving us the wonderful evening's program. A great many of the officers have spoken to me from time to time about how much they enjoyed the evening. I realize it was an imposition to ask you to give the time but I can assure you that you have helped very greatly in advancing the cause of dentistry in the Service.

I hope that Mrs. Waugh had a pleasant trip south and that she found your son getting along nicely.

With kindest regards,

Sincerely yours,
