Memorandum to Dr. Waugh:

Regarding the dental charts you are advised that a supply is already on its way. These include individual record charts as well as a regular form on which you can record treatment and submit this consolidated form at intervals or at the end of the cruise.

RUBBER

A new supply of red and pink rubber for vulcanite use is being forwarded.

NITROUS OXIDE

In case the nitrous oxide outfit is in the way in the dental clinic I would suggest that it be stored some place on the boat or in the sick bay. It would seem to me that this would be very useful equipment for both the dental and medical officer, particularly the letter, on a cruise of this kind.

SPOTLIGHT

Owing to the short amount of time to secure a spotlight and get it on board we decided to eliminate this equipment. There is on board a light fastened to the wall in front of the chair. I assume that it has been installed, if not it should be found on board some place.

CDX Unit Arm

Owing to the shortage of time this has been eliminated. We were advised at the Victor office here that with this extension it might be difficult to secure the X-Ray in place during rough weather, however, if this is needed it will be supplied next year.

5 x 7 CASSETTE

This is being purchased and will be shipped.

PAPER CUPS

500 paper cups are being sent. These should eliminate the drinking glasses as they would be very difficult to handle on board.
