Dear Doris

We are thankful for a sunny day if we have been cold. 30° this morning early. Your box arrived safe Friday fore noon I opened it right away & took out the little clock & had it up in no time it is grand. I didn't disturb the rest of the presents though. Keep them for xmas. I have [[crossed out]] made [[/crossed out]] made another apron & when Doris comes out shall give it to her it is like the ones I gave you green trimmed with red. She will probably be out this week and at least I hope so. for the change will do her good.

We got a nice roast of fresh pork yesterday so that will taste good to us all & a package of oleo no butter & sugar is off the market till the 1st of
