Dear Doris


We are having all kinds of weather also a good deal of showers this month.  Everything is coming forward.  I have just been out & picked a big boquet  of lilacs they are beggining to blossom out.  My flouring almond is in its prime also the red bud tree I raised from a seed.  I think my lettuce seeds are started to come up. but the tomato seeds were planted too early.  I may be able to get some plants later on.

She has just gone off to church we may have company for dinner.  Gladys or Myrtie.  She has got a good roast of veal all baked & ready to warm up in the oven & a package of oriole ready if they come.  Perdigo saves us something every time as he is our regular grocer & she will see Laura & get the eggs if she thinks to bring them when she comes to church.  Bill supplies his Symphony members & hens are not laying quite as well these days, so we have to speak ahead before we are all out.

I don't think Kimptis had much time to do much over to the old place for he didn't get through fixing our porch 'till around three & we don't see him now he is too busy.  but we read him your
