Stoughton April 4th 1946

Dear Doris

Two nights we were woke up with a thunder storm around two O"clock Monday night on looking out the window to see what was going on, we couldn't believe it could be thunder. but it was & it was snowing at the same time. in the morning the ground was white with snow but the sun was out & it soon disappeared. by noon it had all melted but again last night at the same time two O'Clock we had another one this came with a pouring rain & left the wind in the North West so to day its colder & to night the temperature is going down to freezing its predicting. we are having all kinds of weather.

I received a post card from Amy yesterday which I am sending on to you. She says nothing about her lameness so guess she does'nt care care to have it known

Mrs Barry went to her dentist in Brockton yesterday, to get her teeth, but the lower ones she has got to have them fixed. the upper set is all right so he will fix the lower ones & send them to her later. she says he wants them to be just right, before he is satisfied to let her have them.
