I went out in the auto for three days at that time, I was better and thats all I've been off the street for ten weeks. I think it is much better to die than be ill and I could not wish Walter to live in the condition he was in If it were not for Egbert I'd wish I were and some times I do anyway. That is not correct and orthodox & optimistic and I should'nt admit it I suppose. Well I'll change the subject. 

Poor Sidney! He is of the temperament that feels things keenly too. He is some thing like me in that way and I feel so sorry for him. I hope you will be able to cheer him up and get him into better physical condition. We can bear things so much better when we are feeling well. 
Ralph is not so phlegmatic as he seems n the outside. He is much affected by anything unpleasant and shrinks from it or anything that agitates him, and it has been very hard for him of late. Maude has not spoken of Hattie as having emotional upsets
