Dear Sidney

Why dont you write, you mean thing. You dont have half as much to do as Doris does and yet she finds time to write me because she is very conscientious and feels it is her duty to. Topsy and a new stray are staging a rough & tumble wrestling for our benefit to-night. Its much cheaper than vaudeville and funnier too. The new one is shaped exactly like a toad but he projects himself like a bullet and knocks Topsy over many times though he is'nt half as large. He too likes veges so you can see it is a valuable food when even cats realize it. Topsy is still growing and you'd never know her. She is an awful trial at times. She persists in climbing trees & then is afraid to come down to come down & yowls for me to come to the rescue and I risk my poor old neck by shinning up after her. The other night I had a nice tubful of warm soapy water for my bath and while I was getting ready to get in she sat on the sides & gaped at the wash cloth & the soap & the water, dabbing her paw at the as they floated round then before I could stop her she deliberately let herself down into it & stood there
