a country estate, where we lunched, and to a radio telescope. We met & talked to Frauenfelder that day, Thursday there was an entertaining fashion show for the ladies and a reception by the Lord Mayor in the evening including dancing. We were received in line by the L. M. in gorgeous robes, & the dances were numbered & named (I danced 2). On Friday I rested, and Friday evening was our farewell party, also a packed affair, at which we talked to several Poles; Poles are the friendliest of the iron curtain types. Saturday morning we took of for London, arriving tired from our long celebrations & retiring early. We were invited to lunch at the Levene's on Sunday, after which we took off for the other side of London where we spent the next night before the crossing. I guess that brings the circle together again! Don't as yet know exactly when we [[STRIKETHROUGH]] reach [[/STRIKETHROUGH]] leave here for Strasbourg - perhaps Sunday or Monday?
