June 30

Dear Mother & Dad:

I enclose my copy of our paper, the Kamp Crier.
I bought it for 5¢.

Yesterday for breakfast (Sunday) I had bacon & lots of egg (I was bad - scrambeled egg) & biscuits & jelly & cocoa. For lunch we had chicken (good) & icecream & cake, asparagus, & rice. We didn't have anything special for supper. I nearly died of heat yesterday afternoon. I went in swimming with Barbara in the afternoon. I couldn't find any bait for fishing. But I can find some today, for it rained last night.

I went on a launch ride last night. (25¢) We went way down to the bay. It was nice. I saw more than 200 sea nettles.

Next Sundy (visiting Sunday) I want you to bring with you to here a big bucket with a good tight cover (or two small buckets - that's better) to put some lovely fish. I'll get Sunday morning in. - Blue & yellow and black fish.

Love—
Doris.
