April 9th 1866 
Received this day of Col C A Cilley Supt Freedmen two barrels of flour which I promise to pay the Government price for to Col C A Cilley or Order on or before the first of November 1866 & I hereby acknowledge a lien on any crops I may raise in favor of the said Col Cilley & to secure to him or order the value of the rations as aforesaid
