April 6th, 1866

Received this day of Col C A Cilley Supt of Freedmen one barrel of flour and one barrel of pork which I promise to pay the Government price for to Col Cilley or order on or before the 1st of Sept 1866 & I hereby acknowledge a lien on any crops I may raise in favor of the said Col Cilley & to secure to him or order the value of the rations as aforesaid
