Salisbury NC April 7th 1866 Received this day of Col C A Cilley Supt Freedmen one barrel of flour and fifty pounds of pork or bacon which I promise to pay Government price for to Col Cilley or order on or before the 1st of Sept 1866 and I acknowledge a lein on any crop I may raise in favor of the said Col Cilley to secure to him or order the value of the rations as aforesaid [[Witness?]] W S Wetmore [[?]] his x mark Cains Jackob Liner Plantation
