Salisbury N.C April 11th 1866 Received this day of Col C A Cilley Supt of Freedmen one barrel of flour and one hundred pounds of pork which I promise to pay Government price for Col C A Cilley or order on or before the first of November 1866 and I hereby acknowledge a lein [[lien]] on any crop I may raise in favor of the said Col Cilley & to secure to him or order the value of the rations as aforesaid Witness W L Wetmore Amas his x mark Justis 1 B flour 100 lb pork Wd James farm
