Salisbury N C April 1,[[?]] 1866 Received this day of Col C A Cilley Supt Freedmen two Barrels of flour and 200 lbs of Pork or Bacon which I promise to pay the Government price for to C Col Cilley or Order on or before the 1st of Sept 1866 & I hereby acknowledge a lein on any crops I may raise in favor of the said Col Cilley and to secure to him or Order the value of the rations as aforesaid Witness W S Wetmore Columbus his x mark McGuise
