C April 7th 1866 Received this day of Col C A Billey Supt Freedmen One pound of flour and fifty pounds of pork or bacon for which I promise to pay [[strikethrough]] for [[/strikethrough]] Government prices for to Col Billey or order on or before the 1st September 1866 and I hereby acknowledge a bin on any crops I may raise in favor of the saint Col Billey to secure to him or order the value of the rations as aforesaid Witneys W S Wetmore Peter his x mark Roseman on roseman plantation
