I have the honor to send you Orders for transportation for two women and ten children from Charlotte and two women & nine children from Salisbury to New Berne. You will please cause proper persons to be selected from the camps at their two places to accompany the Orphans to New Berne and notify Col. Moore by telegraph of time and train they leave on that he may be able to have them properly provided for. They will be furnished with sufficient rations for their trip.
