Dear Sir,
The Executive Committee have considered your request to send a delegate to Richmond. It is impossible for any one to go to Richmond at this season and on so short notice. Miss Stevenson is quite too ill.

We have entire confidence so your judgment and will cooperate with you in Virginia to the extent of our ability sending as many teachers as we possibly can to be placed where you think most important.
