Rev. R.M. Manlys letter written by your direction has been received inquiring what kind of service I could render. In answer I would say, I should like a store, if it could be established under your direction for the benefit of the Freedmen.

Mr Shaw, President of the Freedmens Ass, offers to send what goods they have, to be sold on Com. A Merchant in N. York also agrees to send goods on commission.
