Dear Sir
I am again in good old Boston, after a very rough passage from Norfolk Friday noon, arriving at 8 last evening in good health and spirits. 
I have spent a couple of hours at Dr. Parker's office this morning and he thinks as I have done for several days that authority from you to collect money and clothing for the Freedmen, will give me more freedom and boldness in making demands upon all denominations than his would do. And I shall be more at liberty to dispose of it under your direction
