Dear Sir,
Yours of 19th inst. explicit & to the point, is gratefully rec'd.

Our honored friend, Miss Canady, who is to be the Principal of our Richmond school, is just now ill, & therefore unable to leave here on Tuesday (tomorrow aft.) with Misses Foster & Chase, who were to accompany her as assistants; the three other ladies to go on as soon as needed. We hope Miss Canady, whose services are invaluable, will find herself able to go soon.

Would it not be well to keep Mr Banfield in Richmond till the schools are under weigh, as he is a good Teacher?

I think the wishes of our Methodist friends in regard to Sunday school
