We have word from Damville! Our teachers have made an effective lodgment there through the force of their moral courage against many discouragements; of these I will speak when we much--I intend going there soon and stop on the office in Richmond. Bur please don't cease to second those magnanimous effort, on account of this probability I shall not set off for 10 days. I tell them that a victory in [[?]] without valor-- and that both are this. Tell them to keep it.
