Petersburgh 20th May 1866

R.M. Manly
Richmond Va

My dear Sir:-
I have just got the goods belonging to the Asso. moved to my house — also the books papers &c. It is a smart affair, I can assure you.

Shall I send you invoice now, or invoice of what is left after paying off the women?

Where is Mr. Hawkins and Estes? Poplar Grove is really going to be broken up, and Coleman will leave soon. Miss Blood has gone. Bachelor and daughter have got to leave Lawrenceville also.

"Hurra" for Colorado!!!

Yours truly
Whiting
