Dear Sir,
We have received yours of Sept. 15th   The whole matter in regard to the buildings will be amicably settled at a meeting of the Committee from both Socities, to-morrow, & you will then be informed of their decision.  We still intend to hold on to the building

In regard to the High School - it is impossible for us to give any aid in that matter, as we are obliged to borrow money to send out our teachers.

We thank you for the kind assistance which you have rendered us.  Our teachers will return in time to begin school Oct. 1st.
