This evening for such animals as gophers skunks wildcats & foxes. Mr. Nelson got a chipmunk today.

Mon Nov 16 Got a fox last night. Shot 2 Valley quail this morning. Mr. Nelson got his usual number of mice. Mr. N. also killed 3 wild pigs yesterday. Set 14 traps tonight for animals.

Tue Nov 17 Got another fox last night. Mr. Nelson got one too. I have 24 traps out tonight. Set two more today for cats 


on creeks over by old quick-silver mine. Mr. Nelson got a gray squirrel today & a lot of mice

Wed Nov 18. Out of all my traps I got a mouse & a fox. Took up 21 of them & took 3 to set up other places. Mr Nelson got 3 foxes last night. I got a gray squirrel & a gopher today. Spent most of the afternoon skinning foxes. Intended to leave today but have too much work on hand & cannot.
