left again on Nov. 7 for Los Angeles, My sister Ida accompanied me and we spend the 8th in town and visiting relatives at Pasadena.

Nov. 9th.
Ida and I take the train to Sta. Ana to visit our Uncle Reuben's family there.

Nov 10th
Spend most of the day with members of the family riding and looking at the country around Sta. Ana. Among other towns we visited during the day were Anaheim, [[crossed-out]]fu[[crossed-out]] Fullerton and Crescencio. In the afternoon I took the train back to Los Angeles leaving Ida to make a longer visit.

No. 11. 
I left Los Angeles for El Paso.

Nov. 12.
Reach El Paso. Train is behind time so I have to stay over one day here.

Nov. 13. 
Take the Mexican Central train for Fresnillo, Zacatecas. First stop south of El Paso is Tierra Blanca. There only appeared to be one house and that was jammed full of natives. T. Blanca is not a regular station. Nearby I saw signs of large and small jumping rats and small gopher holes. There
