Tulancingo.

Road runs along [[crossed out]]among[[/crossed out]] over a rolling plain planted largely to pulque plants. [[crossed out]]Ocean[[/crossed out]] Hills rising from 500 to 1000 ft. above the plain are common. The road seems to ascend gradually until it crossed a ridge at Las Lajas and then descends rapidly to the fine valley in which Tulancingo is situated. The altitude here is about 6800 ft. Snow fell here early this morning and for several hours the hills were white. The weather is rather cool this
