Feb. 6.
Go to Metlaltoyuca for mail etc. 
Sciurus deppei. These specimens from the heavy forests near here.
Sciurus. A black squirrel probably belonging to same species as the large chestnut bellied sp.
Lepus. These spec's, of cottontail from a potrero near Metlaltoyuca.

Feb. 8.
Go over to Dr. Grant's. A ranch about 3 mi. from here and climb a hill near the ranch called the "Ceno del Palmar"
