Make a [[crossed-out]] canoe in [[/crossed-out]] trip in canoe out to the Tamasin river.  The route led for several miles through a narrow passage among the tules and across several small open ponds until we finally emerged on the Tamisin.  Followed along up the river for several miles more and finally came to a ranch where I went ashore and in an old house found
