Capt. O'Neill at Arlingdon Va in regard to the school - he promises to visit me today. There has been much dissatisfaction in reguard to my authority to come here to teach the colored people as I brought no letters of commission from you, I wish to attend to the matter and dispel all such difficulties. The tide of public sentiment is against me here although it is cloaked by pretensions to friendship.
