Mr. Manly

A letter from my friend Miss Paul informs me that she called on you in Richmond, & has since received your letter directed to Danville & remailed to her.

She says you ask if we will teach in Summer. I have no objection to teaching now, but do not know of any Asso. that keeps schools open thro' the Summer - You omitted to enclose our recommendations in your letter, please be so kind as to send them to me as we cannot procure a situation without them-.
