Bureau Refugees, Freedmen and A. Lands Head Qrs. Asst. Com. State of Virginia Richmond, Va. July 17th 1867. Respectfully referred to Rev. R. M. Manly Supt. Education.-The papers herein named were referred to Mr. Manly May 28th /67 for remarks and have not since been heard from. By Order of Bvt. Va July 11th /67 Destms Sako (Freedman) for Comtee. --- Communicates in reference to Communication addressed to Asst. Comr Va (thro Lt. H.L. Hunt in the latter part of May, an application from Committee for means to erect a school house. They have not been informed of the action thereon by Asst. Comr. They feel themselves badly treated not having received a dollar of Bureau Money for the benefit of Freedmen in their County. Requests an answer to their application.
