I can teach, besides the usual branches of a sound English education, the rudiments of several branches of Science, Natural History, Botany, Music, the art of Singing at sights and the Science of harmony in composition.  Book-keeping as the result of real experience, actual out-of-doors Land Surveying, and Several other Kinds of Knowledge which it might seem egotistic to enumerate.  With a few months brushing up I might recover my lost-Latin, French, Greek and Hebrew, all which I have wholly neglected during the last few years.
I have a wife and 7 children who are all desiring I may soon send for them to be united with me in some field of labour, congenial to my heart as a christian, conducive to the elevation of the Freedmen in every sense, the glory of God and the honour of our adorable Saviour Jesus Christ.
