Lieutenant:

We the undersigned Colored people residing in the vicinity of "Menoken Church," County of Richmond, Va., beg leave to inform you that our School House, is now ready for a teacher. The following are the names of the parents, and opposite each of their names is the number of children they wish to receive schooling at said school if a teacher can be obtained:
